Trident® HS Package Water Treatment Plant

The multi-barrier design of the Trident HS, which consists of packaged high-rate settling, adorption clarification, mixed media filtration and optional UV disinfection, is the latest improvement of the original Trident system.

GDT Mixing & Contacting Systems

The GDT Process starts with the creation of ozone from an Ozone Generator. The ozone is then drawn into a Mazzei®Venturi Injector which provides dynamic mixing (a Back Pressure Control Valve adjusts injector outlet pressure optimizing ozone mass transfer in the system). Then mixing and contacting is enhanced in a Flash Reactor.

High Speed CSO Filtration System

As measures of improving the combined sewer system, this high rate filtration system filters the rain water, which flowed directly to the river before, by using our original filter media. This new treatment system can be installed in the existed facilities and supplies stable filtrations for rainfall flow fluctuation.

Capital Controls® Series 1041A Automatic Switchover

The Automatic Switchover system Series 1041 provides safe, reliable switching between two gas (pressure or vacuum) or two liquid (pressure or level) sources assuring an uninterrupted supply of chemical to the application. Automation of all functions (switchover, system initialization, configuration, lamp test, and safety functions) is done with an internal programmable logic controller for operational flexibility, enhanced reliability, and ease of use. If needed, local manual override is conveniently available for operator control to maintain continuous operation.

Disinfection

As the final step before treated wastewater leaves the plant, effective disinfection is extremely important to protect human health, and the maintenance of the environment. This process eliminates pathogenic organisms that cannot be removed by previous treatment steps and reduces the spread of pathogens in the natural ecosystem.
USP’s current offerings include our unrivaled in-house CFD modeling expertise that can be used to optimize the injection, mixing and feed rates of PAA to meet the disinfection requirements of a facility. Also, launching later this year, is our OaSys iCT™ is a novel control approach that optimizes disinfection performance by calculating the optimal chemical dosage that accounts for sources of treatment variability in real time. Available for use with PAA or chlorine.

3-Way Valve

The 3-Way Valve is available in 4”, 6” and 8” sizes and is available as a stand-alone valve or as part of a Vaughan submersible or vertical wet-well Chopper Pump. The valve is a non-plug design using a rotatable CD-4MCu valve disc to allow discharge out of either of the top ports.
