Aire-O2 Mixer 2.0
5/12/2020
Mixer 2.0 is here!
The Aire-O2® Mixer 2.0 ensures simple, nearly maintenance-free operation with above surface float or fixed mounting options. The variable angle mixer performs in corrosive environments with no gearbox and low power consumption in aeration tanks, oxidation ovals, digesters, lagoons, anoxic basins, and chemical mix tanks -
OxyStream™ Oxidation Ditch
1/8/2015
The OxyStream™ Oxidation Ditch from WesTech Engineering has proven to be the ideal equipment for biological wastewater treatment applications throughout the world. It combines vertically mounted, low-speed surface aerators with an oxidation ditch design to maximize oxygen transfer efficiency while maintaining the greatest flexibility for power turndown. In addition, the OxyStream™ has greater side water depths and fewer required aerators than a conventional brush rotor or disc rotor oxidation ditch. The vertical slow-speed surface aerator eliminates maintenance-prone horizontal shafts, pillow block bearings, and drive units near the water surface. Above all, the OxyStream™ Oxidation Ditch provides energy savings and produces predictable, high-quality effluent.

Directional Jet Manifold Aerators
6/18/2008
The Mass Transfer Systems directional jet aerators are designed with jet aeration nozzles installed on only side of the liquid / air jet aeration manifold. This configuration is most applicable for round tanks, lagoons, and ditches where directional flow patterns can be achieved to aid in the mixing of the tank contents.

Nitrogen-Reduction Treatment Systems For Long-Term Operations
4/20/2020
The need for of nitrogen-reducing wastewater treatment systems has become more common in the past few decades due to various environmental concerns, including eutrophication, oxygen depletion, and toxicity to aquatic organisms in lakes and streams. The addition of nitrogen removal to any wastewater treatment plant, new or existing, typically increases the costs of the project significantly. When evaluating suitable technologies, it becomes critical to properly identify processes that can not only proved the best upfront capital value but also provide the most sustainable long-term functionality.
