VOC Headspace
10/29/2014
Static headspace is one of the most popular techniques due to its versatility for analyzing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in a complex variety of matrices. This is due to the elimination of tedious sample preparation steps and prevents contamination problems that are common to other sample introduction techniques. Teledyne Tekmar draws on our experience as a leader in low-level VOC analysis with the introduction of this companion autosampler to the Headspace product line.

Toray MBR NHP-Series MBR
9/21/2017
As part of the Toray MBR series, the NHP (New High Performance) module features thin membrane flat sheets that are densely packed into easily interchangeable cassettes. These cassettes allow for a higher packing density than what was originally thought possible with flat plate designs. The thin membranes are also highly flexible and allow for more movement, resulting in increased vibrations during aeration. This helps dislodge sludge and improve cleaning efficiency, all with less energy use.

Harmonics Reduction Methods
4/17/2017
There are several basic methods for reducing harmonic voltage and current distortion from nonlinear distribution loads such as adjustable frequency drives (AFDs). Following is a description of each method, along with each method’s advantages and disadvantages.

Next Gen Capital Controls® Chlorinators
3/7/2018
The unique compact design incorporates the best existing Capital Controls® technology with exciting new features. With just three models ranging from 10-10,000 lbs/day capacity, each chlorinator is available with automatic or manual feed and a 10” flowmeter for an easier read. Sonic operation on the 4100 model eliminates the need for a differential pressure regulator. On all automatic models, an additional controller isn’t needed, reducing components – and costs.

TIDALFLUX 2300 Electromagnetic Flowmeter
8/26/2019
The TIDALFLUX 2300 is an electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) with a patented, capacitive level measurement for use in partially filled pipes (up to DN1600 / 64”). The meter is the ideal solution for flow measurement of municipal or industrial wastewater in pressureless transport lines. However, the EMF is also suitable for measurement of effluent brine from dredging, mining or sea/well water injection applications. Unlike open channel systems (Venturi, V-notches etc.) the inline flowmeter is a closed measuring solution without obstructions and with a much better accuracy at lower total costs of ownership.

VariOx™ Jet Aeration
2/1/2018
The VariOx™ jet aeration system is an aeration and mixing device used in numerous water and wastewater treatment applications. Jet aeration combines many of the benefits and efficiencies of both mechanical and diffused air type systems. The jet aerator consists of an inner liquid nozzle and an outer air nozzle. Liquid from the basin is re-circulated through a jet motive pump and discharged through the inner liquid nozzle at a high velocity. Concurrently, air is fed into the outer air nozzle where it is mixed with the motive liquid and discharged as a high energy jet plume.

Self-Cleaning Trashrack
2/2/2018
For the toughest debris conditions, the Duperon® Self-Cleaning Trashrack easily handles heavy vegetation, large refuse, logs and other harsh, rugged debris. The front-clean, rear-return technology is able to stand idle for long periods, yet still reliably start whenever a storm or rain event occurs. Independently operating chain strands offer built-in redundancy and continuous operation when it’s most critical.

Clara Filter – High-Flow, High-Load Stormwater Filtration
4/24/2020
Is your industrial facility close to the benchmarks? Do you want an added measure of certainty to be in compliance with your industrial general stormwater permit? Is your industrial facility unpaved or does it have broken pavement that is affecting your stormwater quality? Does your permit require corrective actions? Or is the facility large and you’d like to incorporate end-of-pipe stormwater treatment that doesn’t break the bank?
