RELIANT WATER TECHNOLOGIES PRODUCTS

The Reliant Lagoon Commander Pond/Lagoon Mixer continuously, and slowly, moves water along the bottom of a lagoon/pond, continually mixing the entire water column using a minimum of energy. When compared to standard surface aerators or directional mixers, the Lagoon Commander is more efficient, less costly to operate, and requires minimal maintenance.

The Reliant Water Technologies SCOUT Hydro Profiling System is the answer to obtaining clear and concise shallow water survey data quickly and inexpensively. By not only providing a visual hydrographic ‘picture’ of everything underwater, in any shallow body of water, the SCOUT also provides the volume of sludge in the water body (as well as the volume of free water). The ‘picture’ provided is color enhanced in order to provide clear, definitive delineation of variable depths of sludge, or debris, and includes multi-point water depth over-lays.

A patented polymicrobial blend of facultative bacteria specifically selected for their ability to degrade organic waste and eliminate noxious odor.

Recreational ponds, wastewater lagoons, fish grow-out ponds and small, shallow lakes have always exhibited the problem of organic matter collecting on the bottom and eventually becoming polluted. Wastewater lagoons are especially fraught with problems because their purpose is to clean the wastewater to the point that it can be released back into the environment. Over the years many different things have been attempted to assist in degrading the organic matter that builds up in the “sludge” on the bottom of these water bodies.

The Wet Well Wizard is the only ‘one-size-fits-all’ wet well aeration system that has no moving parts, is completely non-corrosive, is simple to install, and utilizes no electricity underwater. It can be installed in 30 minutes and requires almost no maintenance.

FEATURED ARTICLES

  • Memorial Park Pump Station, Tauranga City Council

The Memorial Park Pump Station (MPPS) transfers wastewater flows from Memorial Park to Chapel Street WWTP and/or Te Maunga WWTP. It is a large pump station (PS) installed within a 9.0m diameter concrete structure. The pump station is approximately 12m deep, with a 6.5m maximum water depth and split into several compartments.

  • Reducing H2S And FOG At The Discharge Of A Force Main

Beginning early in 2019 our office began receiving complaints of sewer odor in the neighborhood of Fountain Ridge Section III (FR III), located in Prince George County VA. The County Operations staff investigated the wastewater collection system that serves the neighborhood, and found that odor was proliferating throughout the neighborhood. Corrosion of the sewer manholes was clearly evident.

  • Mixing Made Easy For Low Energy Lakes, Ponds, And Lagoons

Landlocked, shallow bodies of water such as recreational ponds, irrigation, drinking water and animal waste lagoons have a major problem with flow. The only natural methods of movement in these bodies of water are the slight Coriolis Effect of the earth and wind. Neither of these natural mixing sources is sufficient to allow shallow water bodies to respire and deal with the natural biological degradation of wastes and detritus that eventually form on the bottom. Eventually, external problems will occur – algae begins to form in abundance, odors will emanate from the water due to stagnation, blue-green cyanobacteria will form on the surface and cause more odor and toxicity, and eventually the water is no longer capable of supporting basic aquatic fauna reproduction.

  • The Cure For Collection System Odor, FOG And H2S Problems

Reliant Water Technologies will be showing its Collection System Wet Well aeration system that is guaranteed to eliminate odor (including H2S), liquefy all FOG constituents in the wet well, and activate the indigenous bacteria in the well for improved organic digestion and wet well cleaning.

  • A Revolution In Wastewater Lagoon Aeration

The Reliant Water Technologies Lagoon Master Water Moving Aerator is specifically designed to operate in waste lagoons to provide aeration and mixing with a minimum of energy. A single unit will move the water within a 1 to 5 acre area (depends on lagoon depth), providing impressive savings in aeration energy use.

ABOUT RELIANT WATER TECHNOLOGIES

Reliant Water Technologies is a global marketing company that supplies high quality, one-of-a-kind products to the water and wastewater treatment industries. The products offered by the company provide industry and municipalities with specialized answers to uncommon problems within the drinking water and water purification process.

From municipal water storage reservoir and waste lagoon de-stratification and oxygenation; to gas and liquid, vacuum fed, disinfection feed controllers; to sludge digestion enzymes that completely eliminate sludge and wastewater odors – the products of Reliant Water Technologies offer proven technologies and answers to water quality problems faced around the world.

The company has gathered proven, patented and reliable answers to many needs of the drinking water and wastewater treatment industries.

  • The chemical disinfection of drinking water, while proven to be the most reliable method of disinfection, has historically been a pressurized and dangerous system for operators and the environment. Reliant products eliminate these problems and concerns in order to provide the best disinfection, with the most in-pipe residual, in the water treatment industry.
  • Deep water and shallow water lakes, reservoirs, lagoons and ponds all possess the problem of low to zero flow, which in turn causes stratification, layers of deadly toxic algae, and the buildup of gaseous toxins in, and above, the impoundment’s bottom mud layers. Reliant Water Technologies is the only company that offers de-stratification and aeration circulation devises that eliminate these problems, while saving energy and reducing maintenance.
  • A wastewater treatment plant gives off two end products – relatively clean water and sludge, a collection of untreated solids residues. The latter is a primary problem in almost every wastewater plant in the world. Sludge and solids within the wastewater process causes offensive odors and always adds major processing costs due to collection, separation, and disposal. Reliant Water Technologies provides a proven, patented product that completely eliminates organic solids, thus reducing or eliminating odors and saving major disposal costs for management.
