  1. A Magmeter Built For "Ultra" Dependability And Performance
    10/19/2018

The Ultra Mag electromagnetic flow meter (or "magmeter") sets itself apart from the start, with a stainless steel body, steel flanges, and a consistent 3M fusion-bonded epoxy liner, inside and out, to eliminate wear, abrasions, and corrosion.

  2. Water Intelligence System Combines Process, Data and Instrumentation Analysis
    10/17/2018

In the world of water and wastewater, it's not enough to simply get a measurement back on how your system is performing. The non-linear process of water treatment and distribution requires ongoing adjustment and diagnostics based on process and regular instrument analysis. In this Water Online video, Tom Siller, Senior Director for Hach's Software Business Unit, discusses Claros, a new water intelligence system that not only analyzes but looks to fill the knowledge void as we face a generational change in our treatment operator ranks.

  3. What Are The Hidden Costs Of Water?
    10/16/2018

There are a variety of costs that are easy to overlook in water treatment. But as Herman Coello, Products Manager for SIEMENS Process Instrumentation, explains in this Water Online video, accurately measuring your flow and treatment parameters can reduce them all. Much-overlooked expenses such as pumping inefficiencies and chemical overdosing can all be reduced to save operating expense.

  4. ABB Ability Collaborative Operations For Power Generation And Water Video

  5. Total Nitrogen New Method For Analysis: Webinar
    12/18/2017

Currently the US EPA has not promulgated a single method for the analysis of Total Nitrogen (TN). Most states that have TN regulations require permitee's to measure TN as the composite of TKN, Nitrate and Nitrite. This approach is costly, time consuming, and susceptible to variability based on the methods used for the individual analytes. We are excited to announce the introduction of a Total Nitrogen Test Method consisting of a single spectrophotometric test kit. The method has been evaluated in a multilab study and this webinar will present the results of that study as well as an overview of the savings made possible by utilizing this new method for testing Total Nitrogen.

  6. MBD Brine Crystallization System
    11/3/2017

Veolia Water Technologies offers the MBD™ (Modular Bulldozer Design) System as an ideal solution that not only effectively treats high TDS wastewater, but also manages the subsequent mixed salts.  Utilizing Veolia's HPD® thermal evaporation technology, it is a proven and cost-effective solution to the high cost, permitting issues, and long-term liabilities associated with multiple ponds.

  7. Clearly Intelligent Software To Manage Operations
    10/23/2017

Robert Olofsson, Business Unit Manager of Software for Hach, provides an overview — and brief demo — of the new Claros software platform, billed as "The Water Intelligence System". Olofsson describes how instrument management and data management integrate with process management to optimize operator control and plant performance. Though it works with drinking water, wastewater, or industrial water operations, this discussion from WEFTEC spotlights wastewater capabilities.
