Water Solutions Encourages Disruptive Dialogue And Innovation As A Silver Sponsor Of The Global Water Summit 2019

In just 11 years, the United Nations estimates that the world will have only 60 percent of the water it needs if the global community does not change course. Companies have long caught on to the business risk of water scarcity and are investing to improve water management – in 2017 alone, companies committed $23.4B across more than 1,000 projects to tackle water risks in 91 countries[1]. Business as usual will not work, which means that disruptive thinking is necessary to get to the next level of sustainable consumption.

DuPont Water Solutions, a part of the DuPont Safety & Construction business, is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of this year’s Global Water Summit 2019, taking place April 8 – 10. The annual water conference attracts high-level executives from industry, municipalities and international water companies. The focus of this year’s discussion will center on Disruptive Designs – the innovative technologies and strategies that can offer real solutions to today’s water challenges.

Held in a well-known global financial hub, this year’s summit will include a large focus on water finance and investment. HP Nanda, Global Vice President and General Manager of DuPont Water Solutions, will join the panel “Top Investment Opportunities in the Water Industry: Where is the money going?”

“The industry must recognize water as an asset that deserves strategic management. Water projects can be expensive, but one sector alone can only do so much.” said Nanda. “This is why public-private partnerships are vital to meet our financing and water management needs.”

Moderated by Bill Malarkey, Managing Partner for the North America Region at Amane Advisors, Nanda will join industry thought leaders from RBC Capital Markets, Evoqua Water Technologies, Impax Asset Management and Raymond James to discuss current investment trends and where the industry is headed next.

Join Water Solutions on Tuesday, April 9 at 4:00 pm (GMT) at the Sofitel Heathrow Hotel. For more information, visit www.dupont.com/water/.
