The City of Glendale, AZ Chooses SewerGard No. 210.

In the mid 1980's, Phoenix, AZ was targeted for promotion of Sauereisen products for Wastewater applications. Following a team effort by our local representative and Sauereisen personnel, the SewerGard product was written into the City's specification.

Long established specification continues to produce orders!
Over the years, several of the surrounding communities have followed suit and are utilizing the SewerGard system and accessory products. With our continued effort and with several successful installations, these other municipalities have recognized the performance of the product in protecting their infrastructure in this very demanding, corrosive environment.

Another Large, New Construction Project!!!
The City of Glendale project involved the protection of 85,000 square feet of new concrete structures, including influent chambers and grit basins. Malcolm Pirnie designed the project out of their Phoenix office.

Application by an innovative, local contractor
Concrete Restoration Systems, Inc. of Phoenix, was awarded the contract to apply the SewerGard No. 210T on this large project. In the months prior to the start of the project CRSI sent their installers to Sauereisen's Pittsburgh offices for extensive training on the SewerGard linings and accessory products.

One dilemma faced by CRSI was how to efficiently apply over 1900 units of No. 210T to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Hand troweling was not an option. The engineer was insistent on utilizing the trowelable - 125-mil system. The answer was to spray apply the trowelable product. This was accomplished by using a 5-HP Putzmesister rotor-stator pump/sprayer. The pump and crew were set on a scissor lift in order to keep the length of material hose reduced and to allow for easier finishing.
