Kris Jackson Of Pentair Water Wins NGWA's Manufacturer Special Recognition Award

Kris Jackson, business development manager for motors and controls, Pentair Water, Queensbury, New York, has received the Manufacturers Division Special Recognition Award from the National Ground Water Association.

The award recognizes Jackson’s contributions to the groundwater industry from the manufacturing sector. It will be presented in December at the 2014 NGWA Groundwater Expo and Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jackson’s nominator stated to NGWA’s Awards Committee, “One of his prime responsibilities is training, and he has taught classes from coast to coast week in and week out for quite some time. These have been classes that at times have been in support of Pentair, but a vast majority of the time they have been generic. These are classes that support continuing education requirements to meet state licensing requirements. He has been a key source to the contractors for technical guidance both in the field and in the classroom with the growth of VFD [variable frequency drive] and constant pressure systems.”

Additionally, Jackson has served on NGWA’s Supplier Board of Directors and the Empire State Water Well Association Board of Directors.
