FEATURED ARTICLES

Upgrade Chemical Feed Systems With No Shutdown Required

Pre-engineered chemical feed skids can help treatment facilities replace aging systems quickly while maintaining dosing continuity, reducing installation complexity, and minimizing operational disruption.

How A Petrochemical Site Improved Dewatering Performance Using Existing Equipment

Enhance industrial wastewater dewatering efficiency without replacing infrastructure. Discover how optimizing upstream sludge conditioning and polymer dosing strategies successfully raised average cake dryness to 14.5% while reducing chemical consumption by 15%.

The Secret To Unlocking Revenue Growth For OEMs And Technology Suppliers

In business, the primary objective is usually GROWTH. But we all know how tough that can be. For example, have you found yourself saying any of the following in the past year?

Second-Generation ATAD System Improves Capacity While Producing Odor-Free Biosolids

Upgrade wastewater operations with automated aerobic digestion. This advanced process increases capacity and ensures stable temperature control for Class A compliance, producing odor-free biosolids and efficient nitrogen removal to meet strict environmental standards and community expectations.

Centralizing Wastewater Operations Through A Unified Digital Operating System

Each day, operators and managers use SCADA systems, lab results, maintenance logs, and compliance records to make decisions. However, in many facilities, this information is stored in separate systems that don't communicate well with each other.

Custom Tank Designs That Actively Manage PFAS Mass Transfer Zone (MTZ)

As utilities prepare for the pending 4-ppt PFAS drinking water MCL, many are discovering that legacy lead/lag designs — workhorses for decades when treating contaminants in the ppm and ppb range — simply are not optimized for the parts per trillion-level (ppt) precision PFAS demands.

Keep Your Cool: The Importance Of Advanced Side Stream Filtration In Data Center Operation

Advanced side stream filtration protects sensitive cooling infrastructure in data centers, extending membrane life, reducing water and energy use, and preventing costly downtime caused by particulate-loaded cooling water.

Beyond The Concrete: How Packaged Headworks Solve Modern Wastewater Challenges

Packaged headworks systems provide flexible, high-quality screening for wastewater applications, offering fast installation, modular design, and low maintenance — ideal for temporary projects, small facilities, or specialized industrial sites.

Working For Water Offers Purpose And Fulfillment

Whether you're just entering the workforce or looking for a change of scenery, there has never been a better time to consider the water industry.

RECOMMENDED RESOURCES

Lagoon Commander Mixer Brochure

The Lagoon Commander utilizes a 1–3 HP (2.2 kW) regenerative blower and a patented coarse bubble airlift and baffling system. The Commander continuously moves and mixes the water below the surface for 17 acre feet of water (depth x surface acreage) of a pond or lagoon. Designed for bodies of water with less than 20 feet (6 meters) of depth, a single unit will have the entire body of water moving within 30 minutes of start-up.

Discover how a dual-vessel lead-lag media system achieved continuous non-detect levels for target legacy contaminants, treating over 250,000 gallons of surface water to support regulatory compliance and municipal drinking water goals.

AquaKnight Water Treatment Equipment Brochure

Calgon Carbon's liquid-phase equipment systems provide utilities with compact, flexible, and cost-effective means to apply both granular activated carbon (GAC) and ion exchange (IX) technologies to treat even the most difficult water treatment challenges.

FEATURED GUEST COLUMN

Turning Dairy Processing Residuals Into Resources For Healthier Soils

The food system depends on productive soil, yet manufacturing leaves behind organic materials that never reach a retail package. For dairy manufacturers, one of those materials is dissolved air flotation sludge, commonly called DAF sludge. When its composition, treatment, and receiving site are properly evaluated, this residual can become a resource for nutrient recovery and soil improvement.
