GBA Master Series, Inc. Hosts First Annual National User Conference

GBA Master Series, Inc., a computerized maintenance management software developer located in Lenexa, Kansas, has planned an intensive two-day program to acquaint current users with advanced application features. The user group conference scheduled to take place Tuesday and Wednesday, November 14 and 15 in Kansas City, Missouri is the first national conference for the organization.

Highlights of the two-day event include round table discussions on GBA Street Master, and various aspects of street modeling; advanced features of GBA Sewer Master; and, customizing and creating reports. The schedule includes demonstrations of GBA's GIS link with ESRI's ARC/INFO8 / ArcFM software, and presentations of two new software modules: GBA Fleet Master and GBA Equipment Master. GBA Master Series, Inc. will also provide status updates on web serving the GBA Master Series data and recording real-time data from the field.

Business partners of GBA Master Series, Inc. will also co-present. Black & Veatch will present hydraulic water modeling utilizing their applications in concert with GBA Master Series infrastructure management software (IMS). ADS Environmental Services, Inc. will demonstrate integration of the GBA Master Series software suite utilizing SCADA.

GBA Master Series is a suite of software used to manage sewage, water, storm, wastewater, and street systems. The well-designed IMS software application provides public works and utilities professionals with the means to track the life-cycle of events related to a customer complaint or other service request; documents the details of work performed; and, accounts for the cost of labor, equipment, and material resources. By utilizing the software, industry professionals can quickly and accurately prioritize maintenance and rehabilitation tasks, and also analyze current and historical data to identify system trends.
