Atlas Copco’s energy efficient ZS screw blower range, used in wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical, pneumatic conveying, power generation, food and beverage, chemical, pulp and paper, textile, cement and general manufacturing industries, is celebrating its fifth year of production. The ZS range of screw blowers is up to 40 percent more energy efficient than a tri-lobe blower and complies with ISO 8573-1 Class 0 certification for 100 percent oil-free air.

The screw compression element has a fixed, built-in pressure ratio that allows for high shaft speeds and large flow rates with small exterior dimensions. The internal air flow path is optimized to reduce pressure drops and air turbulence and a direct drive integrated gearbox reduces transmission losses.

Atlas Copco’s comprehensive blower technology offering includes equipment for pressures from 300 mbar to 1,200 mbar and flows from as low as 50 CFM extending up to 5000 CFM.
