We asked them all one simple question: What is the biggest challenge facing the water industry today? WWEMA Window: WEFTEC 2019 From A Manufacturer Representative’s Perspective

Many in our profession have recently returned from WEFTEC 2019, which was held in Chicago, IL, September 22 to 25, 2019. That week is one of the busiest weeks for manufacturer’s representatives, with the hosting of visiting clients to meet with various principals, principal training sessions, and time spent at the principals’ booths. WEFTEC gives us the opportunity to meet with key personnel from those principals who exhibit at WEFTEC (our firm had about 20 of our principals exhibiting) and to walk the exhibit floor to see if there are any new potential lines that we should secure. There is also a wealth of technical presentations for us to attend to keep abreast of the latest technology, regulatory, and government issues.

Manufacturer’s Representatives Attend In Force At WEFTEC 2018

Most of the manufacturer’s representatives have just returned from attending WEFTEC 2018, held in New Orleans from September 30th through October 3rd. This year’s Annual Technical Exhibition & Conference was a showcase of the latest technologies, developments, and services for the water sector and continues to be the largest water quality event in the world.

For the second straight year, the Water Environment Federation Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) came to McCormick Place in Chicago, returning also to the city which launched WEFTEC 90 years ago.
