Xylem Invites WEFTEC 2019 Attendees To Join Them In The Opportunity Of A Lifetime

Solving water holistically through advanced technology and deep expertise

Global water technology leader Xylem, is inviting visitors of the Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC), Sept. 23-25 at McCormick Place in Chicago, to contribute to creating a world that is more water-secure and sustainable. Attendees will have the Opportunity of a Lifetime to learn about Xylem’s portfolio of integrated solutions spanning the entire water cycle and also to share their personal commitment to solving the global water crisis via the company’s social investment program, Watermark.

“During this critical period in our history, we have the unique opportunity to change global water management in a meaningful way,” said Ron Askin, Vice President, Sales, Water Utilities, Xylem. “WEFTEC serves as a powerful industry touchpoint for Xylem to advance water accessibility and affordability, and increase community resilience through new technology and the knowledge of our people.”

At Xylem Booth #1248, attendees will be led on a journey through the water cycle, showcasing myriad options the company offers to solve for today’s most pressing water issues, including:

  • Operating strategy, costs and labor
  • Stormwater and flooding
  • Aging infrastructure
  • Stressed water supply
  • Regulatory compliance

Make an Impact with Xylem Watermark
This year, WEFTEC attendees are challenged to join Xylem Watermark’s commitment to solving the world’s water crisis through education, disaster response and access to clean water. Visitors are encouraged to fill out a water drop from the Xylem booth outlining how they are contributing to solving water. For every drop submitted, Xylem Watermark will make a $10 donation in their name to one of three projects that align with the program’s three areas of focus.

“When we talk about providing people with the opportunity of a lifetime, we’re not just talking about products, technologies and brainpower — though all these elements are an essential part of Xylem’s offering,” said Jamie Saxe, Senior Director, Watermark and Corporate Social Investment, Xylem. “When we combine these capabilities with our Watermark program, we’re able to make a lasting impact on communities around the world. To share this mission with individuals outside our organization brings us even closer to solving water.”

Each project will be implemented in conjunction with one of Watermark’s core partners — Mercy Corps, EarthEcho and Planet Water. Visit https://mywatermark.benevity.org/community to learn more about each project. Water drops are available to print prior to WEFTEC and bring to Booth #1248 by clicking here.
