Water Planet Engineering's Vorti-SEP Selected To Recycle Wastewater For BMW

Water Planet Engineering’s Vorti-SEP water treatment technology was selected to treat and recycle wastewater generated as part of BMW’s month-long launch event for their new i8 and i3 plug-in hybrid vehicles in Santa Monica, California.

Vorti-SEP is a patent-pending integrated mechanical and membrane-based separation system. The systems employ unique hydraulic design and advanced automation and controls, which allow the systems to adapt to variable influent quality and fouling conditions in real-time. Vorti-SEP systems are available in containerized or open skid-mounted configurations with standard designs up to 1 million gallons per day.
