Walker Process Equipment, Division of McNish Corporation

Since 1946, Walker Process Equipment has been a manufacturer of a broad line of water and wastewater treatment equipment for both the municipal & industrial marketplace. This being our sole endeavor, we are truly "Dedicated to the Water and Wastewater Industry!"
As a Division of McNish Corporation , Walker Process is dedicated to providing quality equipment at the lowest cost through innovative production techniques and total utilization of our facilities and manpower.

Our office and manufacturing plant, centrally located in Aurora, Illinois, is tailored to produce parts for, and assembly of the major components of our product lines. Our demand for quality includes 100% inspection of all components produced, including those structural components made at regional fabrication points.

The Aurora facility consists of approximately 20,000 square feet of office and engineering area and over 75,000 square feet of enclosed manufacturing capacity and approximately six acres of yard facilities, storage sheds, and outside crane. This permits total in-house manufacture and assembly of the most demanding components, including Spur Gear and Worm Gear Drives, Rotating Biological Contactors, Gaslifter Digester Mixers, Boiler / Heat Exchangers, Rotary Distributors, and more. The skilled work force includes performing burning, AWS welding of plate and structural fabrications, machining, assembly, sandblasting, painting and inspection. Additionally, we hold an ASME "U" stamp for manufacturing of heat exchangers as applied to this industry.

A formal Quality Assurance program is in place, which was first audited and approved on October 6, 1974, by ASME Board and Hartford Insurance. In addition to this manufacturing facility, Walker Process Equipment uses many outside structural steel fabricators all over the Unites States, where economics dictate production of large steel structures close to jobsites, to reduce the freight component. In these cases, as well as our own in-house manufacture, 100% inspection is conducted by highly-qualified, Aurora-based inspectors.

Our engineering staff includes licensed professional engineers of various disciplines, and drafters, many with over twenty years of experience in this industry. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art engineering tools including various engineering software packages, including structural analysis and finite element analysis. Both Project Management and Field Service are included within the engineering department. A project manager is assigned to each project and keeps the Customer informed on a regular basis of the project's status. Field service technicians are highly skilled and available for start-up, training and trouble-shooting services.

Our Parts Department maintains records of every piece of equipment we have provided, now numbering well over 10,000 equipment installations. We are proud of our ability and resolve to provide repair parts to our Customers to meet emergency and preventive maintenance needs in a timely manner.

All work in progress is assigned to a Project Manager, who provides the Customer with an on-going communication aimed at providing full and complete project information and to assist in maintaining the schedules to ensure "on-time performance" and Customer satisfaction.

Our in house Sales Engineers augment a nationwide network of Sales Representatives with the ability to personally discuss your specific requirements. For detailed information or assistance, do not hesitate to contact these experienced representatives or our home office.
