VersaProbe

Logicon's patented VersaProbe provides flexibility that no competitor's probe offers.

• Included is ID look-up so that the Meter Reader can walk a route in completely random fashion
• The probe will always insert the reading into the correct account
• Supports auto-sensing, wherein it automatically determines what type of meter it is reading
• Meter Reader can readily select either auto-sensing or manual modes,
• Probe will transfer all data from meter encoder, including multipliers, tamper status, and battery status as applicable.

The weather resistant case is designed for use in the harsh and rugged meter reading environments. VersaProbe can be used three ways:

• Attached to virtually any industry standard hand-held computer
• Independently, in which case it can store up to 200 reads then be connected to the VersaTerm for download
• Visual Reader for meter installation/inspection purposes VersaProbe is available in five basic models:
• Standard probe
• Probe with fixed-length pit-probe extension
• Probe with telescoping pit-probe extension
• Probe with adapter for reading Neptune ARB pin-type receptacles,
• Probe with adapter for reading Sensus TTR receptacles.

The VersaProbe comes standard with a NiCAD battery pack; battery charger; and RS-232 communications cable.
