TOP Pre-Engineered Fiberglass Pump Station

The Flygt TOP station delivers outstanding self-cleaning performance both in laboratory tests and under real-life operating conditions. Flygt conducted a laboratory test comparing the Flygt TOP sump to a traditional sump. The test sumps were each filled with 105 US gallons (400 liters) of water and 108 lbs. (49 kg) of sand. The water was pumped back and forth 10 times from one sump to the other. At the end of the test 207 lbs. (94 kg) of solids accumulated in the conventional sump, while only 9 lbs.
