Port Orange, FL — Thompson Pump promotes its 4" high efficiency dry-priming pump, the 4JSCM, for WEFTEC. The 4JSCM is a more powerful, lighter weight, and more compact 4" pump that handles solids up to 3". With a flow capacity of 1,450 gallons per minute and a shut off head of 130 feet, this pump is ideal for bypass and construction dewatering applications. The 4JSM also features Thompson's revolutionary Enviroprime® system.

Sewage, debris and chemical discharge have always been an unfortunate byproduct of the dewatering industry. Thompson Pump has the ideal solution in the exclusive Enviroprime® system for it's dry prime, compressor-assisted pumps in both the multi-purpose trash pump (HTC) and the wet prime open trash sewage pump (TSC). This innovative priming system prevents blowby — sewage, debris and chemicals — from discharging onto the ground, keeping the surrounding environment clean and safe.

The Enviroprime® uses an air compressor to separate air from water moving through the pump, which prevents the pump's venturi from clogging and causing a shutdown. With the air escaping separately, the fluid can continue through the pump without any unwanted blow-by discharge. The separation cycle is continuous. Ideal for high-lift situations (up to 28 feet), the Enviroprime® also has the ability to pump liquids containing solids up to 3 inches in diameter, sand and mud in suspension.
