SUEZ Looks To Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions From Water Sector

Eric Gernath, CEO of Suez North America, sees a huge correlation between climate change and water. In what the Company calls the circular revolution, Gernath’s mission is to reduce greenhouse gas by recovering, reusing and recycling water as well as minimizing energy consumed in water and wastewater treatment.

Speaking on Water Online Radio, Gernath said, “We took a leading position after the cop21 Conference in Paris by forming an organization called the Business Alliance for Water and Climate Change. Essentially, we created a group of very large companies focused on reducing greenhouse gas effect.”
