BetzDearbornSteamate NF series inhibitors achieve corrosion control over a broad range of operating conditions through the formation of an adherent, nonwettable barrier film on metal surfaces, and by providing cost-effective pH buffering. Steam condensate system surfaces can be protected against both carbonic acid and dissolved oxygen corrosion with a single product that combines a non-gunking filming inhibitor and a neutralizing amine technology. Unlike conventional filming agents, the filming inhibitor in the product is resistant to fouling in overfeed or contamination conditions. The combined actions of inhibitors improve system performance, extend equipment life, and reduce the cost of corrosion control.
