Star Water Systems

Star Water Systems was established in 1866, making it one of the oldest water system manufacturers in the United States. Originally, the company built hand-operated water pumps and then windmills, which were sold throughout the United States as well as Asia, Europe and South America under the brand names of Hoosier, Star and Marina.

Not only did Star Water Systems survive the Great Depression, but they also answered the call to arms in several ways during the second World War. In fact, the Department of Navy awarded the company the Navy "E" for Excellence.

As the demand for water grew, Star Water Systems continued to expand its product line to include a full range of jet pumps, centrifugal pumps and sump pumps. During the 1950's this growth included submersible pumps and water conditioning equipment. As the only United States pump company to manufacture its own 50Hz and 60Hz electric motors for jet and centrifugal pumps, Star Water Systems has become known for superior quality and highly efficient products.

The year 2000 and beyond promise an even greater consumer demand for high quality, water system products. As more U.S. consumers are losing their option to own their own private water well systems, Star Water Systems continues to expand into water filtration, industrial centrifugal pumps, ground water environmental monitoring products, and sump & sewage pumps.

With our resources, technology and total commitment, Star Water Systems will continue being the leader in innovation for many more centuries. Whether you are buying pumps or water treatment equipment you can be assured that you are receiving the best value for your money.
