SplashLink And Porto Water Innovation Week Announce Exciting New Partnership

SplashLink, water’s online platform, and Porto Water Innovation Week (PWIW), a week-long event focused on discussing the main innovation challenges in water resources, are pleased to announce a new partnership that will provide PWIW’s attendees with unique access to an online marketplace built exclusively for the water industry. “Our collaboration with SplashLink will provide our attendees with a level of market access they cannot obtain anywhere else,” stated Frederico Fernandes, CEO of Águas do Porto, the water utility company of Porto City Council. “We are excited to team with them to enhance our attendees’ ability to address key issues currently faced by the water sector, and thrilled that a full year of SplashLink service is now part of the prize package for the winners of the SPLASH Innovation Competition.”

“We are thrilled to join forces with a landmark event centered around developing advanced and sustainable innovations designed to tackle major challenges affecting the global water industry.” said Ebie Holst, CEO of SplashLink. “We look forward to supporting PWIW’s vision for growth by equipping their attendees with real-time networking tools that optimize their ability to locate opportunities and foster relationships with influential players in the industry, and by providing PWIW with valuable insights on their attendees based on data curated via the SplashLink platform.”

SplashLink serves organizations and individuals that are concerned about missing opportunities within the water industry and looking to increase their market share. As the only water-focused online platform in the industry, SplashLink provides a one-stop resource that enables industry buyers, sellers, and innovators of water solutions to locate one another, as well as millions in financing and thousands of project opportunities from sources across the industry. Additionally, SplashLink is the leading source of real-time market intelligence for the most significant economic growth-market since the oil boom. “Through the natural activity that occurs on the SplashLink platform, we have a constantly updated resource that can help decision-makers of all kinds better position themselves in this ever-changing environment,” added Jason Wuliger, SplashLink Vice President.

PWIW will transform the city of Porto, Portugal into the European capital of water and innovation for seven days this autumn. From September 24th – 30th, Porto will be host to three large-scale international events: EIP Water Conference, Mayors & Water Conference, and Water Innovation Lab Europe Porto. Registration is at an all-time high for the EIP Water Conference, with more than 580 people having secured their seat for this event. The conference will include presentations, expert panels, debates, and competitions dedicated to exploring novel solutions to key water issues, as well as identifying methods to advance and leverage existing solutions in the water sector. PWIW’s Mayors & Water Conference serves as the official launch of Urban Water Agenda 2030, an initiative to design a new platform intended to promote integrated and sustainable water management in cities and provide opportunities for urban revitalization and the adoption of smart solutions. The Water Innovation Lab Europe Porto, a Canadian program designed by Waterlution and specifically aimed at participants aged 18 to 35, provides an intergenerational and intersectorial learning experience intended to stimulate and support collaboration between future water leaders, mentors, and facilitators.
