Smith & Loveless Introduces New DURO-LAST™ Stainless Steel Baseplate

Lenexa, KS – Smith & Loveless Inc. introduces the DURO-LAST ™ 316/Lean Duplex series 2100 Stainless Steel Baseplate. This product is available on all above grade and recessed Wet Well Mounted Pump Stations.

Backed by a full 25-year warranty, the DURO-LAST™ 316/Lean Duplex series 2100 Stainless Steel Baseplate eliminates baseplate painting and provides longer pump station life and tougher protection against the corrosive agents common in sewage wet wells. This product is manufactured in the United States in Smith & Loveless’ quality-controlled manufacturing facility and factory-tested before shipment.

Existing Wet Well Mounted Pump Stations may also be retrofitted with DURO-LAST™ stainless steel baseplates to extend station life for an additional 25 years plus (Classic and FORMULA X® models). Through the DURO-LAST™ MODEL S CONVERSION program, an entire station structure can be upgraded without having to replace the pumps, rotating assemblies and controls. It provides volutes, station piping, fiberglass hood with hood lift assist and hardware, wet well access entrance, control panel mounting struts with vacuum pump shelf, hood, blower and vents.

Energy-saving Smith & Loveless wastewater pump stations are ideal for collection system and WWTP influent pumping for municipalities, private developments and industry. Proven lift station designs minimize delays because S&L stations arrive to the job site completely built and thoroughly factory-tested. Popular Wet Well Mounted Stations facilitate quick and safe inspection of all station equipment at grade level.
