Smart Hydrant Pilot Project Delivers Promising Pressure Data

Dealing with aging infrastructure, and the resulting leaks and breaks, is the biggest ongoing issue for water utilities, including New Jersey American Water. Until recently, operators at the utility had to install a permanent monitoring site to get remote pressure readings that could help them address the issue. However, they may have found a more viable solution for pressure and leak monitoring.
