Siemens Process Automation Brings Customers Closer To The Digital Future With New Technology Showcase And Demo Center

Siemens Process Automation is proud to announce the opening of a state-of-the-art technology showcase and demonstration center in the greater Philadelphia area, offering customers in the process industries a chance to experience the future of industrial operations up close, hands-on and all under one roof.

Located at the Process Automation office in Harleysville, Penn., the new C.B. Moore Solutions Center highlights the breadth of Siemens’ fully integrated, highly intelligent instrumentation and automation portfolio.

According to Mike Butchart, Business Segment Manager for Process Instrumentation, “The Solutions Center is a tangible way for Siemens to support our customers on their journey into digitalization, by providing them with an in-person, in-depth look at how end-to-end digital automation solutions can benefit their plants and processes.”

“Now, those who may only be familiar with a small portion of what we offer can explore Siemens’ process automation technology and the broad array of horizontally and vertically integrated solutions that are possible,” said Steve Morales, Business Segment Manager for Automation & Engineering. “Knowledge is power, and for our customers that power translates into higher efficiency, improved safety and greater profitability.”

The Solutions Center features a next-generation operator console designed to simulate a plant control room, complemented by a digitalization-ready engineering station and tools for the mobile workforce – allowing customers to play out real-world process application challenges in a virtualized distributed control system environment. Interactive product walls and system cabinets integrated through standards-based industrial networks illustrate the interplay between field sensors and transmitters, process automation and safety systems, and solutions for asset and manufacturing operations management. High-resolution, large-scale presentation screens and an adjoining conference room complete the immersive learning experience.

This significant undertaking was completed in close cooperation with Siemens Real Estate (SRE), which oversaw renovation of the two rooms comprising the Solutions Center. SRE managed multiple aspects of the project including construction and procurement of leading-edge audiovisual equipment.

The Harleysville office is Siemens’ North American hub for marketing, sales, customer service and engineering support of the Process Instrumentation and Automation & Engineering business segments. The new Solutions Center stands as the centerpiece of more than 7,000 ft2 of space available within the building for product demonstrations, product training and factory acceptance testing.

The C.B. Moore Solutions Center is available to current and prospective Siemens customers, channel partners, and employees. To learn more or inquire about booking a visit, www.usa.siemens.com/solutionscenter.
