New Lower-Power Switch Extends Powerpulse Across Wider Markets

The Series 30 Powerpulse, available as monostable and bistable versions, has a maximum switching capacity of 60 amps at up to 264 volts AC, providing a very competitive solution for appropriate power metering and control applications.

The Series 30 devices are focused in a variety of areas such as building and automation controls, ripple control receivers, time switches and lighting.

The Powerpulse Range
Like all BLP's Powerpulse devices, the Series 30 switches offer extremely high levels of reliability and performance. They also have extremely modest operating power requirements, the Series 30 coil drawing as little as I watt in normal operation. The bistable version employs BLP's advanced magnetic latching technology for zero current consumption in the quiescent state.

The higher-current Powerpulse devices employ BLP's patented 'blow-on' contact blade configuration, which ensures extremely reliable, positive contact and massive overload protection. The unique Powerpulse design also greatly reduces the force required from the contact actuator, greatly reducing the power required for the solenoid drive, and magnetically-latched bistable operation is provided as standard. All Powerpulse switches are manufactured from material rated to the UL94-VO flammability standard.
