All 3" through 6" Vaughan Vertical Wet Well and Submersible centrifugal chopper pumps are available with a recirculation centrifugal nozzle option for pre-mixing and centrifugal recirculation of pits prior to pumpout. Floating or settled solids consisting of hair, rags, plastics, wood, grease and other solids are easily mixed nad pumped. Applications include clarifier scum pits, sludge pits, wood and bark pits, and any other pits where heavy solids collect. Features include a ductile iron valve body with stainless steel valve disc, nozzle assembly adjustable horizontally and vertically, and reach rods conveniently located above pit level for ease of operation. Options include explosion proof or non-explosion proof automatic valve actuators for automatic operation of valve recirculation / discharge function.
