Portacel Disinfection Systems

In 1954 the company Chlorination Equipment Ltd was formed and quickly established a reputation for supplying high quality water dosing and monitoring equipment.

In 1984 the company was acquired by Portals Water Treatment and was re-named Portacel – PORTA from PORTAls and CEL from Chlorination Equipment Ltd, and the newly named company continued to build on its already established reputation.

In 1989 Thames Water acquired Portacel and in 1994 amalgamated the company with F W Talbot under the umbrella of T M Products and since then Portacel has developed to become a major supplier in the world market of gas and liquid dosing technology.

The Portacel reputation for accuracy and reliability is built on a simple principle – each customer's requirements are different. Portacel understands this, treating each installation with the same care and attention to detail at four critical stages:

Design
A full-scale development rig and the latest CAD technology are utilised by the in-house design team to create a modular system.

Manufacture
All equipment is manufactured and tested at a purpose built facility within an ISO 9001 Quality Assured environment.

Integration
Modern water treatment works are highly automated. Portacel equipment can be integrated into any control system.

Support
Dedicated service teams offer expert support, planned maintenance programs, on-site training and a comprehensive after sales service.

Portacel now supplies the latest in gas and liquid dosing technology, as well as associated monitoring and control systems throughout the world.
