The Philadelphia Mixing Solution's High Aeration Long Oxidation (HALO) System is a custom-designed integrated process that combines proprietary mechanical aeration technology and clarification.

The HALO System has emerged from time proven installations of its extended aeration closed loop reactor process. We are uniquely qualified to provide the HALO System due to its unmatched ability to provide true aeration performance in an economical package.

The HALO System draws on 50 years of our mechanical and process knowledge. With our full-scale (up to 750,000 gallons) aeration testing facility and unmatched process knowledge, Philadelphia Mixing Solutions provides efficient biological nutrient removal (BNR) that you can count on.

The HALO System can be designed to provide the following benefits:

  • BOD Removal
  • Nitrification / Denitirification
  • Enhanced Biological Phosphorous Removal
Benefits of the HALO System include:
  • The most efficient, true and time proven aeration technology
  • Low maintenance and ease of operation
  • Operating flexibility and load capacity
  • Utilizing the four most common and reliable aeration methods, PMSL can optimize your ditch by using Low Speed Surface Aerators (TALON), Brush Rotor Aeration (AERO-BRUSH), Hybrid Boosted Diffusion Aeration (SUBMIX), and Directional Aerators (RAPTOR). Each is compared by ditch application in the most comprehensive matrix used to evaluate your aeration choices. Using our proprietary software modeling package, HALO Builder, you can model all options in the HALO process to see the resulting effluent quality before any construction begins. We make the unknowns, known.
