Piezoelectric Load Cell

The Sensotec Model DLN compression load cell features an overall thickness of 0.19 inches and weighs less than 1.5 ounces. The combination of piezoelectric technology and solid state electronics produces a voltage signal that is proportional to the dynamic forces being monitored.

Additionally, the output is said to be unaffected by high static preloads which can occur during installation. The cell is said to deliver 1% accuracy, and the micro-inch deflection enables a 40 kHz frequency response. The stainless steel unit operates in a temperature range from 20° to 300°F and withstands overloads up to 20% full scale.
