Overcoming Tariff Uncertainty & Forwarding Partnerships, Altitude Water Shows Power Of 'Made In America'
Lauderdale Lakes, FL - With the threat of tariffs creating uncertainty for businesses across the U.S., leading Florida Atmospheric Water Generator manufacturer Altitude Water is strategizing upcoming plans and forwarding their mission to expand clean water access across the nation and beyond.
This past month, Altitude Water Founder and COO Jeff Szur traveled to meet with both long-time partner Footprint Project, a non-profit organization that has participated in various disaster response and recovery missions, as well as new partner the Mississippi People’s Movement (MPM), in order to discuss water equity and how Altitude could combat the region’s lack of reliable, safe water sources.
“Water is a human right- it is this belief that has guided my team and I in all we do,” stated Szur. “During our meeting, MPM and I discussed the devastating water situation families have endured for years. Extensive boil water advisories, water outages, and even full contamination… the situation has long been neglected by leaders, and we are here to end it.”
Following a demonstration of the Altitude Trident 12, a 24/7 air-to-water purification generator that can produce up to 15 gallons of water daily and store up to 7 gallons, the Mississippi People’s Movement purchased five units. Four have already been deployed to Mississippi districts, ensuring large scale access to drinking water, while the final unit is part of a new Disaster Relief Trailer that will provide emergency resources during critical situations (Altitude’s first DRT played a crucial role in Hurricane Helene recovery efforts).
“We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished. This partnership with the Mississippi People’s Movement and Footprint Project has opened the door to true community-driven change, all while prioritizing access, sustainability, and hope. Additionally, Altitude Water and Footprint are in discussions regarding the development of future Disaster Relief Trailers, which will allow us to better prepare communities across the U.S.”
Szur added, “However, as a business, we must also take into account rising costs of manufacturing and components, which will be exacerbated by tariffs. Altitude continues to evaluate its supply chain and look at where we can decrease costs created by tariffs. Being a made in the US product helps but there are certain components we get overseas. In addition, we will continue to work with our partners to make sure everyone has access to safe drinking water.”
“We are looking forward to announcing upcoming developments and our role in future recovery efforts.”

About Altitude Water
Altitude Water is a leading manufacturer of several types of Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs) from residential and light commercial machines to heavy duty military-grade machines that produce water anytime, anywhere. Since 2008, Founder and COO Jeff Szur has dedicated his career to the AWG sector, and in 2009 he developed the first ozone purification machine in Trinidad before bringing his knowledge to the U.S. market. For nearly 20 years, Szur has studied extensively the dangers of water scarcity, a rising global problem impacting over 4 billion people globally, as well as health problems caused by plastic in our environment and the microplastics in our water supply. A leader in innovation, Szur has been instrumental in the development of Altitude Water's Atmospheric Water Generators, machines designed to drastically improve water accessibility around the globe.
