North American Pipe Corporation

North American Pipe Corporation, a division of The Westlake Group, is engaged in the manufacture and sale of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) and polyethylene (PE) pipe. North American Pipe operates five manufacturing plants which are strategically located to serve the Sunbelt where there is on high demand for polymeric pipes. By locating manufacturing facilities close to major markets, shipping costs for transporting large volume, lightweight products are minimized.

North American Pipe benefits from vertical integration, since Westlake PVC, also a division of The Westlake Group, has the capacity necessary to meet North American Pipe's requirements for PVC resin raw materials. Westlake's ethylene production capacity and new production facilities for linear polyolefins provide an upstream source for polyethylene raw materials as North American Pipe's new AmeriFlow polyethylene pipe business area continues to grow.

Municipal water and sewer pipe comprise a significant sector of the polymeric pipe business in the United States. North American Pipe manufactures a wide range of products from one inch diameter pipes for house services to thirty inch pipes for water mains and sewer systems. This line capacity enhances North American's competitive position. North American Pipe also serves irrigation, plumbing and industrial markets.

North American Pipe's products are high quality, cost effective and environmentally friendly. They are manufactured in compliance with third-party specification, inspection and testing by organizations such as NSF International, Underwriters Laboratories and Factory Mutual.

North American Pipe's Utility Supply Division, located in Birmingham AL, serves piping systems contractors, providing pipes, fittings, valves and other appurtenances necessary for pipeline construction.
