Newterra Keeps Large Rapid Transit Project On Track

rapid-transit-project

The city of Toronto's subway extension was built using a pit at several locations along the transit route and then tunneling between them. These pits and tunnels require dewatering due to suspended solids and manganese being discharged to the sewer above the limits. Because of the location of the pits in this busy metropolitan area, there was minimal footprint for the system.

Within approximately 11 weeks, Newterra delivered a custom-designed Construction Dewatering System offering a minimal site footprint.
