White Paper: New EDI Application: Feed From Brine Concentrator Distillate

Electrodeionization (EDI) technology is now being applied in new process designs at several recently constructed power plants. This paper describes utilization of the EDI process on several feedwater sources at zero liquid discharge power plants. The challenge to EDI as a critical process operation lies in both changes in feed composition and varying flowrates as a result of changes in plant operating modes.
