Nd:YAG Laser Optics and Coatings
These Nd:YAG laser mirrors and coatings have high damage thresholds and high durability tolerance. Their standard coatings for these types of optics are ideal for laser manufacturers, systems integrators, or laser system end users.
Acton’s Nd:YAG optics and coatings cover all Nd:YAG wavelengths (212nm, 266nm, 355nm, 532nm, and 1064nm). This technology is well-suited for medical applications involving dentistry and opthalmology, cosmetic applications in laser hair removal and spider vein treatment, and for materials processing applications involving cutting, welding, and etching.
Acton also offers Nd:YAG AR coatings for increasing transmittance properties of lenses and to reduce the second-surface reflections of beamsplitters. These coatings can be applied to customer-supplied materials or on Acton’s own substrates and lenses.
