Multiple Mobile Systems Deployed For PFAS And Heavy Metal Removal From Contaminated Excavation Water

Mellifiq has deployed a fully integrated mobile treatment solution, including sedimentation and an automated flow-controlled chemical dosing station, at a major construction site to handle heavily contaminated excavation water.

As groundwater is pumped from the excavation area, it carries a complex mix of pollutants, including suspended solids, PFAS, heavy metals (such as lead, copper, and zinc), and aliphatic compounds (e.g., hydrocarbons from oil residues).

The setup features dual AquaFloc 24-S units with automatic flocculant dosing, combined with advanced control systems to ensure the highest possible purification levels.

These systems have demonstrated stable, high-performance operation, consistently meeting stringent environmental discharge requirements. Even under fluctuating flow conditions, it will keep delivering effective purification and ensures the safe return of water to the environment.
