TISCOR, the leading authority on biomedical management software, provides customers with a systematic, managerial approach to quality control and risk management through its MEDI-MIZER system. Worldwide hospital biomedical departments, ranging in size from small community facilities to large universities and multi-health systems, effectively utilize MEDI-MIZER. Symbol Technologies now produces two new pocket-sized bar-code laser scanners that are based on the popular Palm Pilot technology and are compatible with MEDI-MIZER. Both the SPT 1500 and 1700 scanners guarantee increased productivity as they deliver the MEDI-MIZER system in a mobile format eliminating paper-based work orders. Hospital technicians use MobileTech to interface with personal computers, transfer data, track scheduled and unscheduled work orders, track preventive-maintenance procedures, review service history, utilize bar-code scanning, and track parts inventory. A small "computer pen" easily initiates touchscreen responses for information verification or new input. MobileTech increases the flexibility and productivity of hospital personnel by eliminating paperwork and reducing training time.

Take advantage of the new SPT 1740 wireless system that is now available for MEDI-MIZER. It effectively utilizes the IEEE 802.11 standard technology. Updated information is automatically downloaded to a PC without special cables or downloading-connection equipment.
