Our GANTRY Cranes come in various sizes for different job situations. Our representatives' goals are to match the GANTRY Crane to the task. While we offer a Standard line of GANTRY Cranes, we also create Custom GANTRY Cranes so that the equipment will suit the job exactly. Some spaces may be too tight or too broad for the standard models; this challenge is met by designing custom-height Models with a variety of Beam lengths to suit the situation. The 1100R GANTRY Crane is for light-duty maintenance-lifting applications. With a capacity of 1100 lbs. and an assembled weight of approximately 155 lbs. the 1100R is ideal for use in hard-to-reach locations, tight quarters or where staff is limited. The 1100R can be assembled by one person in under 10 minutes with just two wrenches. It is easily transported to job sites in a compact- or standard- size pickup truck or van. The unit can be equipped with Beam lengths up to 25 ft. and comes equipped with Locking Casters (swivel and roll) and a Locking ‘Surround-Beam' Trolley as standard equipment.
The 2200LW is used where height and lift capacity are greater than that available with the 1100R. With a lift-height of 90 to 122 inches and a lift-capacity of 2200 lbs. the 2200LW is an ideal replacement for 1-ton overhead cranes. Easily assembled in minutes by two people, this maintenance lifting equipment can be used for most applications at the Plant or at remote sites. The 2200LW can be easily transported in a standard-size pickup truck. It is available with Beams up to 22 ft. and comes standard, as do all eme GANTRY Cranes, with Locking Casters (swivel and roll) and a Locking ‘Surround-Beam' Trolley.
The 4400 Series GANTRY Cranes are the most popular models for Water and Wastewater Plant applications. The 4400M has the same height-range as the 1100R and 2200R but with a lift-capacity of 4400 lbs. The unit can be assembled easily by one person in minutes with the use of two wrenches. Like all eme GANTRY Cranes, no rigging equipment is needed to assemble the Crane. This makes it ideal for use in basements, on roofs, in tight quarters and where personnel are in short supply. The 4400Ms are cost-effective replacements for overhead cranes, in most applications. The savings can be enormous due to the elimination of expensive building systems to support rarely used overhead cranes. For appropriate maintenance lifting equipment, a Plant can purchase several eme GANTRY Cranes for the cost of just one overhead crane. Factor in utilization, reduced inspection and maintenance costs and overhead cranes are an obsolete way to perform maintenance lifting. For applications where height is a must-have, the 4400R is the ideal Crane. eme has built these units with lift-heights to 17 ft. and Beam lengths to 30 ft. (special order Beam). Engineers, Plant Owners and Operators are no longer at the mercy of suppliers with a limited product line.
With 12 standard models, lift heights to 17 ft., lift capacities to 11,000 lbs. and beam lengths to 30 ft. eme can handle the toughest design and lifting problems.
