LU50 Series Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

The new LU50 series Echotouch 3-wire ultrasonic level transmitter provides accurate, reliable and continuous measurements at depths ranging from 1.5 to 40 ft. with an accuracy of +0.25%. An integral SPDT 10A relay allows for alarm or automatic filling or emptying. Ideal for such applications as large bulk storage tanks, waste sumps, pump lift stations and reservoirs, the narrow 8-degree beam cone permits the transmitter's application in restricted measurement environments. The ultra-tight 1.5 ft. deadband allows for maximum tank filling capacity. Automatic temperature compensation is provided over the entire measurement range. An LED digital display indicates the level in inches.

Combining microprocessor-based electronics with innovative ultrasonic technology, the LU50 is an excellent choice in dirty, coating, scaling or corrosive-type liquid environments. Easy-Cal pushbutton calibration is available for all user setpoints. Echo-Map filtration eliminates false echo signal returns, while fail-safe intelligent furnishes maximum process safety. The rugged, polypropylene enclosure is rated NEMA 4X (IP65). Powered with 14-36 VDC, the LU50 is available in standard sourcing or sinking current outputs and is fully compatible with Flowline's relay control, indication and telemetry products.
