Iron Covers

Uponor ETIn cover is available in a variety of styles including raised, flat or recessed, locking or non locking, and solid or with one or two holes for automatic meter reading fixtures. The locking lids feature worm gear to securely lock the lid to the frame. The locking bolt is silicone bronze and available with either standard or large pentagon head.

The drop-in lid fits the standard 18 in. and 20 in. frame. This non-locking lid features a lift bar to aid in removal. A flat cover is also offered with a removable center for meter reading. It features a n 8.5 in. opening in the center and fits 18 in. meter boxes.

The monitor style cover is designed to fit large meter boxes and can be used when a large lid opening is desired. It is a three-piece unit consisting of a base ring to fit the meter box size, a riser ring and a 20 in. diameter locking lid. This cover is capable of fitting 24, 30 and 36 in. diameter meter boxes.

Adapter rings also available in 18x24, 20x24, 18x30, 20x30, and 20 x36 in. sizes. These rings can adapt 18 or 20 in. standard covers to 24, 30 or 36 in. diameter meter boxes. They also serve as a base ring for the monitor style cover. An optional valve box adapter allows six in. SDR 35 or IPS pipe to be used as a valve box. The large base flange on the adapter secures it to the surface of the pipe.
