Insituform Named 'Contractor Of The Year'
Insituform was nominated for the award by the City of Richardson, TX
Chesterfield, MO Insituform Technologies, Inc. has been named the 2005 Contractor of the Year by the North Texas Branch of the American Public Works Association/Texas Public Works Association.
"Insituform is the type of contractor we love to work with," says Frank Boroski, construction rehabilitation superintendent for the Water Utilities department of the City of Richardson, Tex. Richardson city officials nominated Insituform for the award.
"Their crews are professional and their expertise is phenomenal," Boroski continues. "If you ask them for something, they handle it quickly. And when they're out working on a jobsite, you hardly know they're there – and that is a high compliment for a contractor."
Insituform has performed sewer rehabilitation work for the City of Richardson since 1985. During that time, Boroski says, the company has rehabilitated more than 80,000 linear feet of sewers as part of the City's ongoing wastewater maintenance program.
"When it comes to sewer maintenance, Richardson has always been one of the more proactive cities in the Dallas metroplex," notes Tim Peterie, business development manager for Insituform in North Texas and Oklahoma. "They're known for addressing their needs early, before they suffer failures."
Peterie, along with Insituform's North Texas management team members Josh Awalt, Dean Burns and Darin Fogg received the award at the TPWA's holiday party in Grand Prairie on December 8.
"This award means a lot to us all," says Peterie. "It especially says a lot about the people in the field – our crews and superintendents. Here in North Texas, we have made a special effort to reach out to new customers and build a strong base of satisfied clients."
