From start to finish at ACE18, the Annual Conference & Exposition convened by the American Water Works Association (AWWA), there was extreme emphasis on innovation. The opening session framed the importance of innovation in the water/wastewater industry, but also pointed out the challenge of implementation that is somewhat unique to the sector. Meanwhile, technology innovations are abundantly evident on the ACE tradeshow floor and making significant impact where utilized in the field.
