Inflatable Pipe Plugs

Petersen Inflatable Pipe Plugs were designed to accommodate emergency pipe plugging, pipeline construction and pipe rehabilitation. The 60 in. diameter plug can be deflated down to 7 in. for insertion and for plugging through a hot tap.

The small deflated diameter allows less storage area and reduces the man-hours required for pipe plugging application. Petersen supplies the standard 12-Series inflatable plugs for large diameter pipelines with high back pressure requirements. The 11-Series line of inflatable plugs were designed for medium duty applications. Custom configurations are also available for chemical pressure or size requirements.
