Hybrid Control System

N/Ais a true hybrid control system as well as a fully integrated and modular system. It is open and scalable and can keep pace with process requirements that may change or grow. The system is composed of three modular components that can be tailored to your particular needs.

The human/machine interface (HMI) component is designed to be straightforward and easy to use. With extensive trending, alarm management and historization features, this Windows-based HMI simplifies system configuration. Several graphic features are simply engineered to save time. As a stand-alone, open interface, it can be used for smaller processes. The embedded drivers control and communicate with recorders, controllers, analyzers, flow meters and other devices to ensure thorough integration and seamless functionality.

The SCADA component of this system helps to make server-to-RTU and server-to-client communications more efficient and reliable under adverse conditions. It can interface with a host of third-party programmable logic controllers and Remote Terminal Units.

With the Hybrid Controller, the product's Process system performs integrated regulatory, fast-logic and batch control tasks. Features include optional redundancy for servers, networks and controllers to help the operator stay on line. Designed for serviceability, critical functions are seamlessly transferred during a problem or to "hot-swap" cards in the Hybrid Controller.

Two processors to best meet individual hybrid needs:
• Control Processor: Combining powerful regulatory control algorithms, fast logic blocks and sequential function charts in a single powerful controller, the Control Processor is engineered to make automating batch processes simple.
• Logic processor: PLC processing speeds and performance in the robust and secure DCS architecture of the Logic Processor.
