Hungerford & Terry, Inc. Selects Frank Caligiuri As Vice President Of Sales

Hungerford & Terry, Inc. has announced the appointment of Frank Caligiuri as its new Vice President of Sales for the venerable 105-year-old employee-owned, water-conditioning purification engineering and manufacturing firm.

Mr. Caligiuri replaces Ken Sayell, who will retire in May 2014, after 42 distinguished years with the company. H&T’s last four decades under Mr. Sayell have includedits latest accomplishments in the ion exchange evolution,its continuing success in treatment for the removal of iron, manganese, arsenic and nitrates,as well asits increased utilization of membrane technology in the company’s non-stop efforts to solve customers’ increasing demands forthe future.

“Frank brings a wealth of experience to the critical role of sales for the company,” says Mr. Tom Carrocino, Hungerford & Terry’s newly appointed President, as of March 20, 2014.“His engineering background, his 22 years’ experience in H&T Sales and his diverse prior technical experience will all prove invaluable going forward. Frank will interface with our nationwide sales representatives to promote Hungerford & Terry’s well-deserved reputation for solving all types of water-treatment problems and improving both H&T’s and our representatives’ bottom lines.

When asked about his appointment to his new position, Mr. Caligiuri states: “First, I want to thank Tom and my colleagues on the Board of Directors for their confidence in me. I look forward to enhancing H&T’s pre-eminent status as the company that continuously seeks the best technology to solve water-filtration challenges on a daily basis. That’s what this job is all about.”

Prior to joining Hungerford & Terry in 1992, Mr. Caligiuri was employed by Penn Ventilator in 1991 in a technical management capacity and served as a Total Quality Management Program Facilitator.  Early in his career he received theDale Carnegie accreditation for Sales and Public Speaking.  He pursued a degree in Environmental Engineering at Gloucester County Community College, New Jersey in the late 1980s after he received his degree from Brandywine College (now part of Widener University) in Wilmington, Delaware in 1977.

Mr. Caligiuri was elected to the Monroe Township Council, Gloucester County for three consecutive terms, including two years as President and two years as Vice President. He also served on the Monroe Township Planning Board and the Gloucester County Improvement Authority.
