Environmental Dynamics Incorporated (EDI - Columbia, MO; www.wastewater.com), has changed their name to Environmental Dynamics International. While the familiar acronym EDI will stay the same, the new name is a better reflection of the company's increased global activities in the water and wastewater treatment industry. EDI's logo also incorporates a more modern look and feel. This modernization reflects the transition in the company's thirty-six year rein in the aeration business sector.

A market leader in aeration and biological water and wastewater treatment, EDI was founded in 1975 and has remained a constant innovator in the industry. By combining customercentric business solutions and a highly integrated business organization, EDI is uniquely able to engineer and deliver cost effective solutions focused on the specific needs of the customer, while supporting the long term operational and maintenance needs of these systems. "This evolution in our company is a direct reflection of how EDI continues to evolve from within. We are never satisfied with simply being a part of the industry; we remain focused on our commitment to continue our leadership." Randall C. Chann, President & CEO.

EDI has grown from its original single 40 square meter facility operation in Columbia, MO to its current footprint of over 110 square meters, plus now includes separate facilities in China, Europe, India, Mexico, Japan, Singapore and South America. EDI also has a multitude of representatives in countries around the globe and has provided aeration solutions and services in over 6000 projects in nearly 100 countries. In total, EDI supports the wastewater needs of over 300 million people worldwide.
