GF Piping Systems will highlight the Free-Chlorine Analyzer and Magmeter Flow Sensors at WEFTEC 2018, Booth #2551, Sept. 29-Oct. 4 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

4630 Free-Chlorine Analyzer

The 4630 analyzer offers a turnkey solution for accurately measuring free chlorine. Its amperometric sensing technology provides an improved solution over traditional chlorine monitoring by enabling more accurate measurement in real-time and eliminating the need for reagents. Typical uses include primary/secondary disinfection, water distribution, de-chlorination, algae growth prevention, slime (bio-film) control, and taste and odor control.

The 4630 incorporates a clear flow cell, flow regulator, sensors, filter and rotameter all in one compact unit. Other features include pre-wired electronics, a 120 VAC power plug, two 4 to 20 mA outputs, two mechanical relays, and the ability to have continuous pH compensation that allows for highly accurate free chlorine readings. Diagnostic data can be easily accessed for troubleshooting purposes.

2551 & 2552 Magmeter Flow Sensors

The 2551 and 2552 Magmeter Flow Sensors feature no moving parts to wear or foul, high accuracy sensing, empty pipe detection and bi-directional flow capabilities. The units measure flow in fluids containing a high content of particles, solids and fibers, making them excellent choices for applications with dirty fluids.

The Signet 2551 Magmeter is an insertion style electro-magnetic flow sensor. Frequency/S3L output is bi-directional, while the 4 to 20mA output can be set for single or bi-directional flow. Performance characteristics include a dynamic flow range of 0.15 to 33 ft/s (0.05 to 10 m/s) with repeatability of ±0.5% of reading. Superior linearity of ±1% reading provides excellent performance in harsh environments.

The Signet 2552 Metal Magmeter, a rugged insertion flow sensor, permits hot-tap access to the pipe stream. This design allows quick and easy installation or maintenance without system shut-down, significantly reducing overall costs. Three output choices are incorporated into a durable metal housing. It can be mounted into pipe sizes from 2 to 48 inches (DN50 to DN1200) and features a dynamic flow range of 0.15 to 33 ft/s (0.05 to 10 m/s) with repeatability of ±0.5% of reading at 25°C. Typical applications include municipal water distribution, water inlets to process plants, surface, ground and ocean water, chemical processing, water and wastewater monitoring, and industrial water distribution.
