Geometry Inspection

The Geometry Inspection Pig is designed to determine the geometrical shape of the pipeline. It produces information indicating dents, buckles, ovality, weld penetration, pipe expansions, valves, pipewall changes, debris deposits and pipeline footage. This service is applicable for new construction and on-stream pipelines. The service includes a complete base line survey indicating overall line length and benchmark locations. Pipeline anomalies are accurately sized and located for excavation and repair.

The inspection pigs will traverse 25% diameter reductions with no damage to equipment or pipeline. Pigs 8 inches and larger will traverse 1 * D radius 90° bends. The 6 inch pig will traverse 3 D bends.
