Full Scale Installation: City Of Sycamore, Illinois

The City of Sycamore, Illinois water system has three producing water wells to supply water to a community of 12,000 residents. The water produced from two of these wells contains concentrations of radium in excess of the maximum contaminant level (MCL).

Located 70 miles west of Chicago, the current population is approximately 15,000. Average radium levels are approximately 8.5 pCi/L.
