"In-Pipe Technology did more than just eliminate our grease problem – it eliminated our complaint problem as well. Storm and sewer overflow isn't a problem for us like it was."

HARMFUL AND COSTLY CONSEQUENCES
Persistent fats, oils and grease (FOG) are notorious for causing severe problems in pipes, pumping stations and treatment plants, including:
  • Sewer backups and overflows
  • Sharp increases in energy and maintenance costs from the effects of clogging, cleanup and removal
  • Negative impacts on treatment plant operating efficiency
  • Odors and infrastructure corrosion
  • Decreases in the useful and productive life of the infrastructure

THE IN-PIPE TECHNOLOGY REMEDY
In-Pipe Technology® Company's natural biological process degrades FOG within the collection system. The result is a vast reduction in FOG buildup, and more readily bioavailable carbonaceous material.

Unlike In-Pipe Technology, other products on the market simply move FOG downstream to cause the same problems elsewhere in your collection system or at your treatment plant. With our process, however, FOG is biologically converted and eliminated from the wastewater near the source.

HOW WE DO IT
In-Pipe Technology's patented process converts insoluble FOG into soluble organic material that is readily metabolized by aerobic microorganisms already present in the wastewater. For particularly heavy grease deposits and loads, In-Pipe Technology introduces additional aerobic organisms to assist in fully metabolizing the FOG.

In-Pipe Technology's facultative bacteria produce enzymes that completely breakdown FOG into glycerols and fatty acids, with no negative impact at the plant or downstream on sewer pipe walls or lift stations.

Although In-Pipe Technology is a powerful tool in cutting FOG, it produces nothing but harmless CO2, N2, H2O and typical fermentation products.

Ultimately, In-Pipe Technology substantially limits the harm of fats, oils and grease - quickly and cost-effectively - without adding any man-made chemicals, surfactants or enzymes.

THE IN-PIPE TECHNOLOGY ANSWER
Only with In-Pipe Technology can you control FOG while you also eliminate odors, limit costs, increase plant capacity, limit corrosion and reduce sludge production, all at no additional cost.
